Chick Peas
Chick Peas
Soak the dry chick peas in a container with a lid, adding cold water and sealing the lid. Leave overnight. Transfer the chick peas and water to a pan, bring to the boil and reduce the heat. Simmer for around 15 minutes. Alternatively, use a pressure cooker to retain more of the natural aromas. Monitor the chick peas to make sure they are softening without breaking up. Make sure they are always covered in water. Then put the chick peas and water back in the container and leave for a few hours, ideally overnight. The chick peas are now ready for use or for freezing. To add flavour, follow the same steps as above, but add flavour and colouring to the water. The quantity of each ingredient will depend on the amount of bait and water used. Be careful not to overdo it! Simmer for 10 -15 minutes in the same water they were soaking in and your ecommerce website is ready to go.
